This full day training brings the Pre & Postnatal curriculum to life through theory, hands-on practical work, and open discussion - guided by the comprehensive course manual and led directly by Claire Ryan, Women’s Health Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor.
You’ll practise exercises and class programming with real time feedback, and leave the day genuinely equipped to apply what you’ve learned in your very next class.
This course currently travels to studios across Australia. If you’re based outside Australia or want to start learning straight away while a course is scheduled near you, our Online Training is for you. It covers the same content and is available from anywhere in the world.

How to teach and cue both strength and relaxation of the pelvic floor, and when each is appropriate
Pelvic floor issues, including prolapse and stress urinary incontinence

How the day works —
This course takes place over a day with a small group of instructors - it combines up to date theory, practical work, demonstrations, discussions into the perfect interactive & immersive day.
You’ll work through the curriculum alongside other instructors, practising exercises and class programming with real time feedback and time for questions. All to ensure you walk away feeling confident & ready to apply what you have learnt.
The course covers a combination of reformer and matwork pilates and is tailored to the group joining on the day.
At the end of the day there is a small assessment element which can be completed on the day or afterward, depending on your preference.

You should have completed matwork and/or reformer Pilates training to get the most from this course. If you’re an allied health professional without a Pilates background, get in touch to check whether this course is the right starting point for you.

Yes there is a 20-question quiz and a short practical assessment demonstrating five exercises. This can be completed on the day itself or submitted afterward, whichever suits you.
