This module builds your foundational Women’s Health knowledge by covering all you need to know about the pelvic floor. From anatomy, physiology, cueing, and how to incorporate this into your teaching. Pre & Postnatal Team Workshop
This workshop is designed for Pilates teams who want to feel confident, aligned, and well-equipped when working with pregnant and postnatal clients.
Delivered face-to-face in your studio, the workshop combines up-to-date women’s health education with practical, Pilates-specific application—so your team can immediately apply what they learn in the studio.
What this workshop covers:
Pelvic Floor: anatomy & physiology, teaching & cueing both strength and relaxation, incorporating pelvic floor into pilates during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
Pregnancy & Teaching Prenatal Pilates: aims of pilates in each trimester, current exercise guidelines, beneficial exercises for pregnancy, abdominal exercises, exercises needing modifications in pregnancy, pain conditions in pregnancy
Postpartum & Teaching Postnatal Pilates: birth factors to consider when returning to Pilates, abdominal separation & recovery, how to run effective postnatal pilates classes
Duration: 2.50-3hrs

Tailored Team Workshop
Tailored team workshops are intentionally designed to meet the specific needs of your clinic or studio. These workshops can cover a broad range of women’s health topics—including pelvic floor, pre- and postnatal care, menopause, pelvic pain, and beyond—and are suitable for Pilates studios, physiotherapy practices, and allied health clinics.
Each workshop is developed in collaboration with your team to ensure the content is relevant, practical, and directly applicable to your client population, supporting confident, consistent, and evidence-based care across your practice.

FAQs
How long does the online course take?
The online course is self placed so it depends what speed you work at. From feedback you can expect to spend approximately 6-8 hours working through the modules.
Is there an assessment element?
Yes, in both the online & in person version there is an assessment element to receive your certificate of completion. You will be prompted to complete a 20 question multiple choice quiz. You will also be asked to complete a practical element in which you will submit a short video of you teaching 5 exercises appropriate for either an antenatal or postnatal client. If completing the face to face workshop this can be completed on the day or after depending on preference.
How long do I have to complete the online course?
Once you enrol you it’s ideal to complete the course in 6 months. This can be extended as needed.
Can I get support & ask questions through the online course?
Yes, when you enrol online you will get contact details for our course writer and founder, Claire. You will be able to call, email, or organise a zoom for any questions or to chat through anything you need.
Is the course designed for reformer or matwork pilates?
The course currently has a larger focus on reformer pilates however the content can be applied to matwork pilates. When you attend the in person course we are able to tailor this to matwork instructors.
Do I already need to be qualified in pilates to complete the course?
To get the most out of the course you need to be familiar with the foundations of pilates and have either completed your matwork and/or reformer training. The course is designed for pilates professionals with all levels of experience & allied health professionals. Note: If you are an allied health professional wanting to learn more about pilates reach out to see if the course will be beneficial for you.
Can I organise an in person course to be held at my studio?
Yes, the course can be travelled and delivered as a day workshop for your team. Please email to organise this.
